Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before booking your first lesson.
Booking a lesson
How do I book a private lesson on TutinGo?
Create a free account, search for a teacher by subject, level or city, then pick an available slot in their calendar. You get an immediate confirmation by e-mail and on your dashboard.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. Each teacher states on their profile whether they teach online, at home or both. Online lessons take place in the virtual classroom built into TutinGo, with no software to install.
Which subjects and levels are covered?
More than 90 subjects from primary school to university: mathematics, physics and chemistry, life sciences, French, English, Arabic, philosophy, computer science, economics, Bac and exam preparation, foreign languages…
Can I try a teacher before committing?
There is no commitment: you book lesson by lesson. If the first lesson does not suit you, we refund you or offer another teacher at no cost.
Prices and payment
How much does a private lesson cost?
Each teacher sets their hourly rate, shown on their profile. Rates range from about 80 MAD to several hundred dirhams per hour; most lessons fall between 150 and 300 MAD. Registration is free and there is no subscription.
How do I pay?
By bank card (secure Payzone payment), with your TutinGo wallet topped up by card, transfer or cash, or in cash directly to the teacher after the lesson if they accept it.
What happens if I cancel a lesson?
You can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before the lesson. If you cancel, the refund depends on the notice: 100% more than 24 h before, 80% between 12 h and 24 h, 50% between 2 h and 12 h, and no refund less than 2 h before.
What if the teacher cancels?
You are fully refunded, or the lesson is rescheduled, as you prefer. Repeated late cancellations are penalised on the teacher's side.
Teachers
How are teachers verified?
Before becoming visible, each teacher submits an ID document, diplomas and background, which our team checks. The "Verified" badge on a profile means this check has been done. Published reviews come only from students who actually attended a lesson.
How do I become a teacher on TutinGo?
Sign up as a teacher, complete your profile (subjects, levels, rate, availability) and send your supporting documents. Once approved, you receive bookings and lesson requests matching your skills.
What commission does the platform take?
TutinGo takes 20% on each completed lesson. This commission covers matching, secure payment, the virtual classroom and support. Teachers set their own hourly rate, with a minimum of 100 MAD.
When and how are teachers paid?
The lesson amount, minus the commission, is credited to the teacher's wallet as soon as the lesson is marked as completed. Transfers are processed within 3 to 7 business days.
Account and support
Can a parent manage their child's account?
Yes. A parent can create the account, book and pay for lessons for their child, and follow the session history and the teacher's notes.
